Default SilverStar® zXe

Ran by the auto parts store today and saw these, anybody have these in their truck?
I was told they were pretty new, they definitely caught my attention, but I'm curious if anyone has any reviews, good or bad??

There have been a couple threads about these. They definitely put out more light though! Just don't expect them to last more than a year and a half. The one picture is with one zxe and one factory. The other is both.

Oh shoot I must have missed them. But yeah they look good, how is light output compared to stock, more than just color I guess but how did they do actually lighting up the road? I would mostly want bulbs that just light up like crazy, I had PIAA Xtreme Whites on my old truck and I absolutely loved them. The zxe's caught my eye though.

Be very sure they fit your truck as Autozone said the ZXe's would fit my 04 Supercrew XLT and they don't even come close. You can see the connector through the bottom of the pkg.

The silverstar line from sylvania I went with the ultra's are a definate improvment over OEM but as others have stated dont expect them to last as long as OEM bulbs. note you can pick them up on Amazon or Ebay for about 1/2 the cost of the parts store so I just orderd 2 pair and keep one set in the truck as spares

I got mine from autozone so I know you can get them there. The light output is way better than the factory bulbs. The ultras are great as well. All the bulbs are warrantied for a year and sylvania has been good at swapping them out I hear. Just keep your old ones as spare in the mean time. Sorry I don't have any better pictures.

I just bought some a couple weeks ago to replace my silverstar bulbs. The zxe are better than my silverstars were. No complaints. My silverstars had 2 1\2 years on them and they weren't burned out, I just wanted to try these new zxe bulbs. Ill keep my silverstars as backup bulbs. So longevity wasn't an issue for me... Two thumbs up for the zxe
