Well, I bought my truck and the previous owner had some massive stick on convex mirror things. I tried to take them off Bc they were hideous and it just broke/cracked the mirrors. Now I have no side view mirrors. The housing is good but not the side views.

This seems to be a huge issue and probably will cost $$$ through a dealer. What are my options?

Nice! Mine have the turn signals etc. I wonder how hard it is to just replace the mirror portion?

 

I'm pretty sure safelite will fix them and for free if you have full glass coverage. My mother broke the glass out of her mirror on a branch going 45 and they replaced it with no problem. I would see how much safelite would do it even if you don't have glass coverage before buying a new mirror with the light in it. I think they were 2 or 3 hundred at the dealer when I went and looked for a replacement for my truck.
