i was wondering if anybody knows if you can change the step rail inside the truck to metel and what you would call it cant seem to find it on the internet it the long plastic that covers the wires between the carpet and the door

 

It's called the door sill. I've not seem any metal ones

 

Ive seen a aluminum one but it is for a super duty so i don't know if it would work.
