Default side marker lights

Anyone have any pics of their side marker lights both after dark and how you mounted them? ive tried the search feature which as usual has failed me again, as well as google with no luck. not really looking for strip lighting but post em up any way, who knows, I may be swayed.

I guess I should be a little more specific. the marker lights along the bottom of the truck. i guess some people call them running board lights?

Just ordered some smoke lens, yellow LED clearance lights (10pc set)
Plan on mounting them on the step bar brackets.
top 1 as a marker, just outa sight, but glowing on the step.
visible to cross traffic.... but not in your eyes standing by it
Then another 1 below that 1 that is visible, wired as turn/hazard.

I'm going to 2-way tape & temp wire them to get placement right.
Measure twice drill once ! lol
I will take pics and post them... looking like it will be under $50 bucks !

Well I got 8 instead of 10
and yellow not smoke !
So waiting for am e-mail to see if I can get the correct 1s

Kinda like the idea of not seeing them unless they are on.
2.5" x 1" and about 3/4" thick got all 8 for 22 bucks.
and they all work !

I was looking at something very similar to that. I was just hoping that with all the thousands of these trucks out there that someone had done this and had pics of them on the truck and working and maybe possibly pics of how they mounted them. I haven't looked all that close yet but as of now it looks like the best way may be to mount them to a piece of angle iron that has been painted to match the truck, and mount them to the bolts for my step bars. im just hoping that wont make them too visible when they aren't on.

I ordered two sets, both fenders and one for the tailgate, I don't regret anything.

How did you order one for the tailgate? Any pics of wiring? Did you get a passenger side for the tailgate?

Yes, the one for the tailgate is from a passenger side, so I have an extra drivers side.

At the moment I have the wires hooked up to my running lights, I need to reroute the wires through the tailgate, as of now I have them coming out of the plate on the inside.

I like the look of those too. There are a number of peel and stick options.

My steps are about 60", these are amber/white, more amber than white LED's
