Default Should I trust my mechanic?

soo i have a 6" suspension lift going into my truck right now, and i stoped by the shop to see how it was going, everythings going well, but he told me my front end was done, and they were starting the back. i then noticed my 2.5" leveling kit was sitting on the ground. i asked him why it wasnt in the truck and he tried telling me it wouldnt fit.... i told him ive heard of several trucks having a 6" lift with a 2.5" leveling kit, he still told me it wouldnt fit. has anyone ever heard of this happening? im not much of a mechanic and dont want to argue with the guy if hes right, but at the same time, i want my damn leveling kit!!

thanks everyone

Kit Contents:Front: Rigid front and rear crossmembers, durable differential skid plate for off-road protection, strut spacers, stainless steel brake lines, rack & pinion drop brackets and new CNC machined steering knuckles with differential drop brackets to maintain the factory steering geometry.

Rear: E-brake drop bracket, brake line relocation brackets, (2) Premium Nitro 9000 shock absorbers, and fabricated anti-wrap lift blocks.
Looks like they are already in there-in image 4 of 6 they are on the bottom of the pic next to the two sets of 3 bolts

so the new kit comes with spacers for the front struts. He cant take the leveling kit spacer and put it on top of the new lift spacer. On the back portion, in the new lift kit description it does not include new springs, only new taller blocks. You can only use one block. So using your leveling kit block in conjunction with the new lift kit block is out of the option.

I am not a ford suspension lifting professional but I do know some things about lift kits. If I am totally incorrect please correct me.

Hope this helps, I would trust him, it doesnt sound like hes trying to screw you or anything.

I'm planning on running the rough country 6" lift so I've been doing some research on it, I've read both that the leveling kit can and can't be stacked with the 6" lift. Even found a guy running 37s with just the 6" RC lift. I know for sure pro-comp and fabtech you can stack the leveling kit on might have something to do with the rough country design. anybody out here running the 6" rough country with the spacer?
