no offense to anyone but me and my buddies all label steps as B!tCh Bars. i understand if you absolutely need them, but otherwise i feel it takes away from the look of a truck and plus thats all part of owning a truck right? having to climb up to get in it? keeps you in shape

thanks for you input guys, like mentioned before i did really like the thought of doors hitting the steps before they could get to the truck. but for the most part i usually park away from the crowded spots anyway. i went ahead and took them off but im sure when i get some cash i will look into getting them sprayed with bedliner. that would be pretty cool. the truck looks really clean withou them on. and getting in and out isnt really to bad. here are some pics.

it was a lot harder getting them off then i thought it would be. they were rusted pretty good. the front to hangers werent even connected. they were completley rusted through. and not having the right tools was a pain. the rear hangers are still connected, you can see them in the pics. i need a socket wrecnh to get them off and i left amost my tools in idaho when we moved. so all i had was some wrenches.

Much better IMO! Leave them off, it really cleans up the look and anyone who complains about getting in will get used to it...it's your truck!

Yeah the truck does look good without them. The only good I really see in them is whenever you rock crawl but then if you rock crawl then you probably shouldn't be using a nice looking vehicle.

What kind of wheels are those? They look sick

I had the factory chrome and nothing was wrong with them at all...I just think it makes the truck look higher with them off.
x2, I think it looks better too, I just haven't taken mine off because my fiancee is 5ft and she has trouble getting in with the steps, I can't imagine without them

Oh yeah, there's also a paint on type of bedliner, I think it's the same stuff, it just doesn't spray on, you use a roller I think. That might be a do it yourself project, and it should save some money too.

Found it http://www.herculiner.com/

The wheels are moto metal 951, i painted the silver lip black a while back. haha nobody ever notices that they are the same wheels they see almost as much as the rockstars until i tell them. i really like the way they look now.

haha bummer dude. thats a pretty bad alternative car. mine was a 2001 civic so i usually did pick that car to drive around instead of the truck. it would be a lot harder to "want" to drive that car.
