Talking Should I go up a size??

I am getting new tires this week for my 2006 FX4 crew, yeah! I think I have decided on the Goodyear Duratracs, but now I am trying to decide on the size.

My truck has factory 275/65/18 goodyears on it. Last fall I put a 2.5" leveling kit on it and a 1" shackle lift in the rear. So now the stock tires look a little on the small side.

What do you guys think? Should I stay with the factory size and hope the more aggresive looks of the duratrac will make up the difference, or should I go to the 295/65/18 and know it will look good.

Before you answer....I am not sure how the bigger size will make my truck ride as the 295's are a 10 ply tire, and the 275's are a 6 ply. Also the 10 ply is only available in black wall whereas the 6 ply is available in white lettering, and I do like the white lettering.

I know I am thinking this to death, but I want to be happy with my purchase.

Let me know what you think, thanks!!!

well the lettering all depends on the color truck first of all. black walls look better on darker trucks

as for the size i would definitly go 295/65/18. it will fill out the wells and look way better

Def go with the 295's! 33's look so much better with a leveling kit.

I got 84,000 on my original set of Goodyear Ats and i will not put anything other then those tires back on my truck. I'm on my second set and I've got no complaints. I thing my stockers are 275/65/18 that I found the cheapest at my Ford dealership.
