I am new to the forumm and posted this question in general discussion but I see thete may be more experience here. I have an 06 F 150 latiet, 5.4 4x4. The front diff cover has developed a slight leak which appears to be gettign worst. I checked the cover bolts ant they are tight. I know what I have to do but wonder if the cover will make it past the steering rack without loosening it or the front diff assembly. It looks like the cover may get hung up between the steering rack and ring gear. I just want to know whats in store for me. Also ant reccomendations on gear oil. the truck has 61,000 trouble free miles at present.
