in about 2 weeks im putting a leveling kit on the front so would it defeat the purpose of the leveling shocks ? and monroe makes a rear shock that has a small coilover spring on it made for trucks, helps keep truck level with a load or pulling a trailer. im just wondering if it would make the truck ride hard in the rear with those.

I have rancho quicklifts on the front of my truck to level it and rancho 9000xl shocks on the rear... I love them, they give a great ride and I can change the ride stiffness from a little know at the base so if I'm rowing I can crank the rear to 8 or 9 and when im normal driving I can soften the ride back down to a 5 or 6

Nothing rattle canned
I recently installed the Bilstein 5100's up front for starters....at 78k I knew I needed shocks and also wanted to level it so I knocked out 2 birds with one stone and glad I did. Truck rides 100% better with just the fronts so far and sits perfect now. I plan on doing an AAL spring time so I'll do the rear 5100's then to accommodate the added lift.

Billstein makes non-level shocks and I love them. All of my friends have them and love the ride. They are heavy duty but the ride is smooth enough. The cost a bit more but they will outlast monroe for sure.

I'd check both but I know that my Monroe's have a lifetime Warranty. I guess its just comes down to what you use your truck for and how much you want to spend.

I ordered mine through a vendor here...shockwarehouse.com and used the discount coupon advertised in the vendor showcase thread
