When I got off today I looked and noticed my shifter indicator wasn't lit up with lights on. I've never noticed that before. I pulled it apart and pulled out and pushed in the bulb and its working fine. Now im gonna have to get used to it being lit haha

This is hilarious! This has to be the most common thing, cause mine has being doing the same thing since I got my truck. Got the bulb today, now just gotta get the console off. Good thing I saw this, cause I was trying to pull the small chrome oval around the shifter off , not good. But thankfully I didn't. Pictures anyone?

Excuse whatever I just posted. I went outside and changed my shifter bulb in about 5mins. 4:59 of those mins were getting the freakin' gay bulb in place. I don't know if I turned it the right way, but it's in! Here are some pictures for anyone else's enjoyment.

Just returned and parked in the garage. Removing the cover was very easy. I used a putty knife along one edge, cover snaped open with ease. I will replace the bulb tomorrow with better light and parts stores are open. Thanks for all the info, guys!

Mine was also out of the holder in the console?
But it looks like the bulb is burned. Does the bulb just depress and turn out of the`bulb holder`to remove?
