Default shaking at 35-55mph and pull to the left???

my truck pulls to the left pretty bad (let go of steering wheel and it will switch lanes in 3 seconds)

it also feels like its shaking (vibration) in the 35-55 mph range...

any ideas? I was going to start with a front end alignment unless some of you have better recommendations.

Thanks.

Alignment first....could also be left brake caliper sticking.

Yep, alignment, then wheel balancing. Shaking in the 35 - 55 mph range is usually wheel/s out of balance.

You'd feel wheel balance being out in the steering wheel too; poster did not mention this...

To the original poster: Is there steering wheel "shimmy"?

yes... the steering wheel has a slight shimmy to it... however its hard to feel the shimmy sometimes because you are constantly hold the wheel at a 1-2 o'clock position to help counter the pull to the left
