Hello,

I have an 06' Linc Mark LT... I wanted to get get those shackles that Summit sells to lower the back. Does anyone have pics so I can see what it looks like, basically to see if its worth getting them (2" drop). The rims and tires are stock if it makes a difference.

Also anyone have any problems with them after they had them put on?

I put a set on my 07 Lariet and it made a big improvement in looks and performance. The rear still sits about 1/2" higher than the front but you basically have to measure it to see the difference. It also makes the rear end hook up a little better with the weight transfer and all. Sorry I do not have pics, but trust my its worth it in my book. I got mine from Rough Country and only paid $60.00 shipped.

 

It's definitely worth it. They aren't hard to install either. I put a Ground Force 2/4 drop on before the shackles, but in these pics you can still see the difference.

^^No more then 2".

Most of the shackles you see are 2". I wouldn't waste your time with anything less then that.

The ones from Summit are pretty good for the price. I have a friend that installed some about a month ago. They seem well made.
