is there any danger in doing this? Can it hurt an older motor? Cause seals to start leaking etc?
I've been wanting to do this as well, but I live in a residential neighbourhood, with a cop on my street.

I think there is a how to on youtube

I did it on my 95. If it causes seals to leak, you've got bigger problems that are about to show themselves.

Used to do this on my 94 ranger and it makes a huge difference. i was always told to just let it idle while its smoking and then when it starts clearing up drive it some. I was warned NOT to rev it up real high when it was smoking real bad cause it would cause damage.

I quit doing it to the ranger because it was getting high mileage and did some research and found where people also warned about putting it in older motors

I used the pcv tube connector and stuck the straw through that. But I don't like the spray I ended up using the vacuum line.

Is there a how to on here?
I'd really like to do this. The valve covers seem really gummed up, and I think I should have a little more power than I do, it just makes me nervous.
Is this the stuff you guys are using? I know they have a line of products, just wondering if this is the right one?

I usually pour a whole bottle in my gas tank every 3 years, am I wasting my money?
I just used some some 2 weeks ago but I noticed a stp product right beside it that looked similar and said to use it the same way with same results. Is the stp just as good or better? Also stp said you could put in oil before an oil change and run motor 15 minutes at idle before changing the oil then proceed with the oil change and this would flush engine. Is this something that should be done?
