Love my new Terra Grapplers, but they are scary as f**k in the rain!! Thought something was wrong w the truck at first, shaking like crazy when I hit the gas pedal, tires were spinning I guess....*grabbing fresh underwear*

I hear ya man! My terra's don't do nearly as well as the BFG all terains that I had on my old truck in the rain. You do get used to it fast though. The only thing is once I got through 50% of the tread, it did seem to get worse. When it rains now I have to be super careful when I turn - even around 10mph.

Glad I read this I was really thinking about these tires. Any suggestions on something similar that maybe does better in rain? BFG's or Duratrac's have always been another possibility.

EDIT: I was actually looking at the trail grapplers.

The duratracs are good in the rain, they hydroplane less than my stock hankooks did. The only time i've had hydroplaned with the duratracs was in a thunder storm when the wipers on high it was still hard to see.

My BFG ATs are a significant improvement in both rain and snow over the Contitrac TRs i had.
