Default Scanner install in ash tray

This weekend I removed the flip-out ash tray from my flow-through console to install my fire/police scanner. It fits well but obviously I need to come up with a trim piece around it. Has anyone done something similar and gotten a wood grain piece to fit around it? How easy is it to find another flip out ash tray to cut the front off of?

Everything is bolt-in using existing holes so I can return it to stock in a flash.

I used a lexan sheet from lowes to make a switch panel to go there. It was really easy to cut with a dremel and easy to paint. It was only a couple bucks also. I'm sure it would be pretty easy to cut as a trim piece for your scanner. Since its clear I also just painted the back side so it can't get scratched once its installed and it has a smooth perfect finish
