Default SCANGUAGE II and "HPR"

In reading up on the addendum of my Scanguage II book this past weekend (the one that has the "xguage" codes), I saw I could program in a horsepower display. I entered the codes, and sure enough, I can now see the horsepower (HPR) on the guage. Here's my question....the display changes in reading from 120 at idle, to about 430 at different speeds. If I'm accellerating, it will climb to over 400; I've even seen a spike to 510!

I know my 4.2 liter V6 does not put out anything over around 265 horsepower (I think that's what it's rated at).

Before I call the folks at Scanguage II, anyone else have this programmed in and know what these displays are really telling me?

I'm assuming this is a flywheel measurement, but it's still too high. If no one knows this mystery, I'll call them today and post their answer here.

Not having my scangauge for very long I am just adding some X gauges. I have found some odd values. ambient air, Fuel level, Barametric pressure, all funky. not sure I trust it at all.
