Default Rusted in hitch...HELP?

I left my hitch in the receiver over the winter, and it is rusted in there. I got the pin out. I have sprayed PB Blaster in it and some oil...hit it with a sledge hammer...nothing. Any ideas on getting that booger out?

might not be ideal but a rope and a tree hahaha ( warning. I am not responsible for your actions or accountable for any injuries or damage that could occur if you try this )

Funny thing is, I already tried that!! Well, I used a cargo strap and a tree. Now, I didn't get going with too much speed or anything, but enough that I thought it would jerk it out...nada...

you have to make sure the strap or chain is exactly level meaning the height of it on the tree needs to be exactly the hight of the hitch. if it's higher or lower you won't ever get it.

^This. Heat it up then give it a thwack with a hammer and see if it breaks loose. If that doesn't work it might be time for a new hitch lol

Best penetrant i have ever used is open and shut. Works better than all others I have used including pb blaster.

Spray it with your favorite penetrant for a couple days in a row. The next step requires caution and an assistant. Strap it to something solid and put a moderate amount of tension on the hitch. Just above an idle is plenty. Now start rapping the receiver with a hammer and I think it will go. If not, repeat the procedure with heat. Just be careful because burning up the wiring probably involves more cost and labor than installing a new hitch!
