recalls NEVER expire.

I got a letter from ford about 2 months after I bought my truck saying that there is a outstanding recall on my truck, that the previous owner never took care of, and It can still be preformed now that I am the new owner.

I'm prety sure it was a service bulletin to remove the pad shortly after I bought my new '04 STX.

It sounds like the original owner didn't get it taken care of.
