Mine is an 07' (see sig) and I haven't noticed any water in any of the lights. I'm going to check tomorrow.

I've replaced the tail lights with after markets, but the right tail light still gets moisture in it. This may be the reason. That's why I would very much like to see the entire document.

My friend's Titan had moisture in his aftermarket tails also. I've heard of alot of other trucks getting water in there also. I'd hate to have to pull them of and reseal them and risk messing something up.

Yesterday morning I had it out w/ Ford. They admitted to this being a problem. On my truck, there is a pad under the right side panel of my truckbed. It's not on the left, only the right. IT was put there by FORD. It collected water and has caused my truck to rust through. After plenty of argueing w/ Ford, they finally admitted to it.
Response from Ford:
Butyl Pad Removal - Coverage under this program was valid until September 30, 2006.
But because I bought my truck in March of this year, I don't get any help from Ford regarding their product rusting through.
I have now sent a letter to the Board of Directors of Ford since they won't give me any names or phone numbers of people to call.

Hang in there and keep on fighting! Ford should be backing the product no matter where you bought it if the TSB work was never done. From what I can find, this is an expensive fix (read $1500 - $2K) and requires the bed to be removed from the frame, a new right panel installed on the bed and primer /paint before reinstalling on the frame.
Good Luck!

I would fight all the way. Where did the chick get this "recall" info from? I was unaware that recalls expired. What do they do for folks who are in the service and thier trucks are parked for long periods of time......they are overseas......do not have any homeland contacts that can take car of things like that? Why are you being punished for a previous owners incompetence?

What are the specs on your truck...model...year....motor.....yada yada yada. I can look at the national transport recall website to see if it was a "recall".
