Default Rough Riding

I own a '04 Ford F-150 4x4 and just installed a 2" Leveling kit and had it aligned and the tires rotated. It seems to have made the trucks ride a bit stiffer. Is this normal? if it is I might pull them out. I don't like the stiffer ride......

You're the first to mention a "rougher" ride with a leveling kit, but I'm sure those that have them (2 inch leveling kit) will add their comments.

Installing the kit changes you suspension geometry at rest slightly. But it shouldn't significantly affect the loading of you shocks and springs (I didn't notice a significant difference on my 2.5").

You may be better served replacing the shocks, that way you'll get a better ride than you had before the level, and you'll get to keep the added height.

Can't say enough about the set-up, have it on my 2008 F150 4X4 Lariat.

I installed new shocks Also. They're not Bilstein just a stock shock.....
