Rough idle continued
Hey gentleman, so I posted a little while ago about a cylinder 1 and 3 misfire on my 07 XL 4x4 with the 4.6L with almost 165,000 miles. I changed plugs and COP's with Motocraft parts with little effect. Although the check engine light and the codes are gone, the rough idle remains to some degree, definitely better but still very noticeable when in reverse or pulling away from a stop sign. As an added bonus, my truck now sounds like it's cammed which I know for a fact it's not. I did put a bottle of injector cleaner in a quarter of a tank so I thought that may be an issue, so I ran through it and put more gas in but there was no change there either.
Any opinions? I'm all ears

Vacuum leak -- Smoke machine - U tube has some on there . I had to make one for wifes explorer after a year and mechanics gave up .Worked like a charm .Paint can, air fitting, cigarillo on fitting ,tygon tubing to brake booster hose New boots on plugs ? is the tab on the cop to spring connection corroded . Dialectic grease should be just on rubber boot ends not on metal parts . D grease is an insulator ,it stops rubber heat seizing but is designed to not track down plug porcelain.
Any dirt or moisture in spark holes ? I ask because I just helped a guy whose holes had oil and antifreeze all over them .
Does the 4.6 have an intake runner control under rear of intake manifold ? Lots of problems there . Vacuum hose and broken plastic mechanism where rod connects . .
Intermittent cop they won't throw code until misfire lasts 20 seconds or so . I 've heard some code readers or tuner can spot that but I don't really know .I don't have either . Still thinking !

Alright gave her a check and from what I could see, there is no broken vacuum lines or any fittings that took bad. Obviously can't real tell with out a smoke machine or something like that. But to me it's seems like too big of a misfire to be a vacuum leak. It literally feels like I'm going over speed bumps when I first push on the gas. But still no codes on my edge evolution. I'll have to try cleaning the throttle body, I know it's been a little while, but not super long, but there has to be something else besides the throttle body being maybe a little dirty.
