So the dealership replaced both cam phasers last week along with the other parts that go with it ...warranty work..its a hell of a lot quieter now..no more diesel sound...it had a rough idle before the work..but i noticed at stop lights and stop signs the rmp gauge fluxuates a bit with the rough idle and the truck shakes a bit when this happens..i was thinking it needs new spark plugs..it has just over 80,000 miles on it...i need to bring it back for them to fix the problem..but i was wondering what you all thought it could be..i would appreciate your comments...thanxs

 

i personally think its a dirty throttle body. Since the new f150's don't have the mechanical idle control its all electric now..it gets dirty and gummed up. A common problem with the 04-08 f150's
