Default Rough country knuckles

Hey guys, so I need to know the measurements of the rough country 4/6 inch lift knuckles

i spoke with rough country and they said both kits use the same knuckles but did not have the specs on hand.

im looking to compare it to my Fabtech knuckles and see if I am able to drop my truck to a 4 inch lift instead of 6.

if anyone has the rough country knuckles /kit for sale that would also be great.

What measurements do you need? Height, width, height of spindle from the bottom? I have a RC 4" lift on my truck. The only difference between the 4" lift and the 6" lift is the size of the strut spacers, and the size of the rear blocks. Even the rear shocks are the same for both kits.

Here are some pics of the spindles before I installed the lift.

And the front lift installed

And the rear lift installed. (I did a 3" rear block instead of the kits 2" block)

awesome! I’m looking for the total length of the Knick from ball joint to ball joint. I’m trying to see if it’s comparable to my Fabtech knuckle. I want to try to drop my truck 2 inches without buying the new kit first and see if I can get away with new struts and spacers.

if not I will end up buying the 4 inch lift kit.

how do you like it? How is the ride? And what struts are you running up front?

Ride is good. The struts are Autozone, mine were shot. I may eventually replace the fronts with Bilstein 6112's. The RC rear shocks are as good as stock shocks, but I think the stock shocks suck. I'm replacing the rears with Bilstein 5160's today.

I'll get you a top to ball joint to ball joint measurement today when I jack the truck up to do the rear shocks.

awesome! If you don’t mind, could you post pics of your truck? I’d really like to see how the 4 inch lift sits compared to mine. And what size tires you are running?

Don't know if this helps or not but I put the RC 4" lift kit on my truck. Here's a side by side of them and the OEM knuckles.

Using RLXXI's pic for reference. Red line to red line, which is ball joint surface to ball joint surface is 61 inches. Pink line to pink line, which is top of knuckle to bottom of knuckle is 64 inches.

If you are referring to me truck, the Rough Country shocks are designed to have the canister at the bottom. Canister up or down will very with each manufacturer, and by the product being used. My Bilstein 5100's had canister at the bottom. But my current Bilstein 5160's have the canisters at the top.
