You said you have the 5.4 right? I don't know about the 5.4s but the 5.0/6.2 engines have a rollback control. It's actually a nice feature, I can let off the brake on a solid 10% grade and it'll roll a tad, catch, RPM goes from 575 to about 590 and she holds steady. Like I said I don't know if the 5.4s have this feature.
