Heard mostly good things. Is rock auto legit? Are most items to be trusted or should I be skeptical. Quick strut for 45 a side? I believe the brand was fcs. Would love to hear your experiences. This seems way cheaper than the parts store.

 

Rockauto is legit. Many have been using them for years. It’s not that they’re priced super low, it’s that local autoparts stores mark parts way up and rip you off.

 

I've heard that, just hard to believe its not too good to be true! I nees to at the leasr do my struts and shocks soon and I think I know where to get them now. Thank you!

I don't know that I would go for the cheapest parts though.
The "daily driver" part classification is the lowest grade I would go for most things.

 

I haven't bought from Rockauto since they did away with the ability to talk to a person. I'll be if I get a wrong or defective part that I have to deal with
all email back and forth.

Rockauto is the best place to buy parts if you can wait for them, shipping is fast but, you still have to wait a couple days to get parts.

 

As other have stated, It is legit. I don't use them often because their shipping prices are ridiculous. I use them as a comparison and can usually find the same part of amazon or ebay and get free shipping on the same part.

 

Legit and dont forget to search for the discount code for 5% more off. Many list their shareable code in 2 posts here.

 

Years long RockAuto customer. I have ordered parts for many different vehicles over the years.

I've only had one issue and that was this year. I ordered brake pads and for some reason received a beat to hell box of PVC conduit elbows. Lol. Me thinks it wasn't RockAuto but someone down the line before it made it to me. Emailed them and they shipped out the correct parts right away and I even got to keep the elbows.

Holding on to them. I know what I got. Lol.
