I meant to update you. I ripped my dash all apart again, no foam, no binding. Ordered a new HVAC contoller, will be here in a week, I'll update you after that. The actuator is moving, and giving a position reading to the controller, the controller is interpreting the signal wrong. That is my hope anyway.

Yeah let me know thats where I am at as well. But they are not cheap.

Just got it in. Problem remains. Replacing the selector motor next.

I replaced the control unit and the motors, didn't fix it. I believe there is a change over year with different part numbers, maybe one works forward and the other reverse, I'm not sure, I sold the truck and never did fix it
