Sorry to break up the thread. But can someone explain retrofit to me, is it splitting your headlight and adding the fish eye casing or what?

Its when you take the stock headlight apart and add in a hid projector and shroud into it. Basically making it into a headlight on the Lexus's and other high end cars. Much brighter light output without blinding everyone coming at you or in front of you. By means I'm no expert I just had a set made for me.

Should I attempt to glue this back together? is there such a thing as chrome touch up paint? Ill post some pictures. Let me know what you think!
I had done something similar myself on my last go around. I had glued it with jbweld and then cut off the goo that came forward from pushing it together. You can use masking tape to hold it...wrap it around to hold the pressure.

This could also be the time to paint the chrome...if it goes with your theme. if staying with chrome you will always see it, others won't, but, you will because you know where it is

Yeah it went back together okay but I think I have a better solution. The oem set that I am modifying is not the set I am currently using on the truck. So when the time comes I am going to take apart the passenger side that is on my truck now and replace that whole piece. As long as I am careful and dont break it again lol.

Well im too the part where im trying to test fit the projectors. The top sits flush and looks good but the bottom of the projector is hitting on the place where the halogen bulb cover screws in. Do I need to cut that out or what? Any advice would be great! Thanks
