Default Replacing Leaf Springs Need Help!

Let me preface by saying though there is a good bit of information both on here and on the web in general about replacing lift blocks with springs I have not been able to find the answers to the questions that I really have. Even the 4WP store didn't really have the answers I was looking for.

Here is the situation, I currently have a 6" Stage II Pro Comp lift w/ 2.5" rear lift block, 1" AAL and 3/4" Shim kit plus the stock 2" block. The coil overs are at max adjustment on 37x13.5 Tires. My leafs have flattened out after 200K Miles and the Pro Comp MX6 Shocks with 100K on them need replacing as well. I have decided to take a lot of stress off the system and will be going to 35x12.5 tires in the next few weeks and want to get rid of all the "crap out back". I have found two solutions one is the Skyjacker 6" Soft Ride Leaf Spring but from all I can read it looks like to get the true 6" lift that I would be running I would have to keep the factory 2" block and I would really rather not. The second option would be either of the Atlas Leaf Spring in either 6" or 8". For the life of me I can't find if these leafs retain the factory 2" block or not? If they do keep the factory block then it should be cut and dry to get rid of the 2" factory block go to the 8". Here is where I get confused... THATIRISHTRUCK has the 8" Atlas and in the pictures he has posted it doesn't look like he has the 2" factory block, at the same time he has a 2" level on top of his 6" for a total of 8" up front and indicates he currently has a 1" rake in his posts. The math is just not adding up to me.

I would assume that the 11" would be to keep the factory 2-2.5" rake? Otherwise the math just doesn't add up. That or you mean to say that each leaf pack needs 11 leafs? I was further confused today when 4WP called me back and said the Skyjacker Leafs RF44S were actually only for 4" of lift and when you add the factory 2" block back that is how you get to the 6"??

How much ride quality are we really talking about loosing by going to leafs on the axel over the 2" block plus a leaf set up? I am planning on putting on Bilstein 5165's in the rear as well. Basically my intent is that I have a very off road capable vehicle when I need it but that when it's going down the road I want it to ride like I am in a Cadillac so to speak.

11inch leafs would make the truck level at a 6 inch lift, right now there are 5 inch leafs on a stock truck. you would not need the two inch blocks with 11inch leafs, your goal shoul be to have the leafs on the axle because it gets rid of the axle wrap that you would otherwise have with an blocks at all.... i suggest you look up axle wrap on youtube so you can understand the damage that can occur with running blocks on a lifted truck.... as far as where to get these atlas leaf springs i was in contact with top gun customs today an they have atlas leafs in stock... they have some for a 4in lift (you would have to run factory 2in blocks) they also have 6in leafs (for a six inch lift, you would not use the factory 2in blocks... the leafs would be on the axle...this is the goal.... thease are the leafs that measure at 11inchs) an they have leafs for 8 in lifts ( this is to much for a 6in lift unless you were to run a 1in spacer up front an 8 inch leafs in back for a total of 1in rake, these springs are 13inches tall)! get it?
