Removing rear blocks????

Default Removing rear blocks????

hey guys. im new to the forum. wondering if anyone has done a how-to on removing rear blocks to lower my 2004 fx4 rear a bit....i want to to sit more level and this seems to be the cheapest way to do so...will this effect ride quality? if i remove them what size u-bolts will i need to replace them with to tighten down the leafs? thanks guys...om me or just post here..

is your truck stock height? if it is i dont believe that you have the rear blocks. if you want it to sit level i would just go with a leveling kit up front on a fx4

I plan to do the same to my 06 Lariat 4x4. I've been advised that when you remove the blocks you need to buy the Ubolts for the same model 2x2 truck as you will then have the same stance. Those Ubolts are a bit shorter. Good luck.
