Post Remove factory installed push button start crap

I no longer have the key fob or original keys to my 2006 f-150. I changed the steering column and ignition switch as well as the computer's. I cant get my vehicle to start. I am hoping I can bypass or remove the push button feature and the key fob recognition out of my vehicle. Is there anyway?

What a bunch of changes at one time . Must be a story behind this . So many things to address just on column wiring then there is reprograming pcm . Don't know if this is keyless entry. I guess you are planning on defeating all security systems . F150 are very desirable theft items . It may end up in mexico .
Don't know how many fuses got knocked out during this change . You have to power up pcm when key on . You have to satisfy key pu to pcm to get thru to pcm giving a ground to start relay, Key switch sends positive to start relay thru shift contacts park/neutral under truck .
I would hate to think some of these work arounds could be used by people of poor character to commit an offense . I'm not talking about pro's my guess is they can already get around security systems . So yes a dealer is going to insist on proof of ownership to get involved .
You have already spent enough to have dealer make you a working key . I don't know how much to program a new computer , maybe the old one would be better .Some speed shops could handle this . I know some you tube mechanics could too. But you would have to be near them.

First post.... who doesn't have the keys to their own vehicle?

I smell BS. This is more than likely a hot truck.

you'd be surprised at the amount of people that lose both keys to their vehicle

Or could have bought the truck from the auction and it didn't come with keys... But I would've started by talking to the dealer about getting new keys to fit the truck before I started swapping out parts..

I don’t disagree with that. But how many of those people opt to start swapping ignition system components as opposed to just buying the right key?

It doesn't last I checked. We'll probably never hear from the op again.
