Default Remote Starter Problems

I am having some problems with my factory remote starter. It just quit working. I am not sure if it has worked since the last service where the battery was disconnected.

I am able to access the quick stop mode, where if the truck is running and I push the start button, the remote takes over and I am able to remove the key and exit the truck. However it will not start normally. It goes through the door locking motions and you can hear a click but no start. There is also no "horn chirps" as the trouble shooting in the manual says there should be. It is not in valet mode either.

Dealer just keep telling me to come in but I really don't have time for them to try and squeeze some cash out of me somehow. Anyone know of this problem or know of a fix?? I have been trying everything for days.

I had the same problem with mine and I couldn't figure it out, I had to bring it to the dealer but it was just a quick fix and didn't cost me that much. You might be better off bringing it to the dealer and hopefully it's just a quick fix like mine was.
