Question Remote Start Systems...Good or Bad??

I'm thinking about adding a remote start system but have heard some good & bad things about it. Anyone have some info to share about remote start systems on our 2004-2008 F150's???

I have one on my 08. Love it, and it has a few fail safes. If i touch the break even slightly it kills it, i can turn it off from the remote the same way it turns on, it has a 10 min timer...No regrets.

I have run one on my last two vehicles, but I have yet to put it on the F150. I miss it dearly. It will be going in before next winter.

Never had an issue with it, although I will admit it is not always the "green"-est approach, it sure saves my *** in a typical Canadian winter.

I have one on my truck and absolutely love it. Mine also has the fail safe that if you touch the brake without the key in the ignition it dies. It was great in the summers because I can have it running with the AC going and it's nice and cool when I get in. Of course when gas was up over $4 a gallon I suffered rather than letting it run for too long.

I have one in mine also I have no problems and yea sometimes I swear I just look at the brake and it shuts down can also shut down with remote. The only thing that really gets me sometimes is I don't always lock my truck and sometimes when I start it, it locks the truck and other times it doesn't can't quite figure out what I'm doing I don't know how I lived with out it all my other vehicles
