Default Remote start question

Hey all! So I'm having a bit of a problem with my remote starter and was wondering if any of you could give me some insight before I have to get bent over at the dealership.

A little bit of background information. It's an 04 f150 (nbs) that had the dealer installed remote start/alarm. It worked fine when I bought it but only had 1 key and fob.

Fast forward a bit. My keys were stolen from my work over the summer and I had to call a lock smith. He gave me a fob and 2 new keys and had to delete the existing code in the keys because they're chipped?

I now 2 fobs and 2 keys but they are not from Ford. Is there a way to reprogram them to my truck or is this something I need to go to the dealership to have done?

Just keep those keys the keys and fobs from ford could be pricy, I also bought my truck used with the factory installed remote start ( I have a 2004 nbs xlt) and it came with one key and fob. I bought a used fob for like 20 or so Dollors and just got a key from a lock smith and installed a chip so I can use it I have those as my back up keys. Put a picture of your current key fob and if its the same as mind it may be a ford fob and if not I'll upload the one I have and a link to where you can buy it

I have an original ford fob at home on my spare set and use this one daily since the battery was new. Lol

So you still have your remote start that works? This fob won't trigger the remote start but my ford one I have at home triggers it but the headlights just flash and all of my power accessories come on but the truck doesn't start.

This is my key fob now the truck has a ford remot start and the key that came with it was this one ( lock left top, unlock right top, panic left bottom, remote start right bottom) for me to turn on my truck I hold it down untill it beeps then it checks the system the cranks ( about 6-8 seconds) if you want you could reprogram the fod and make sure it recives the code for engin start

I have one of those fobs with the buttons worn down. It was the one I always used to trigger the remote start last winter. I just didn't worry about it because I didn't need it until these last few days when it started getting cold in the morning!

Haha yes I do have it though I'm sure of that because I've used it before! I'll take another picture when I get home.

Mine was always I had to hit lock and then the remote start but it was the same process (6-8 seconds)

I looked up a YouTube video on the reprogramming but mine came up unsuccessful. If you wouldn't mind sending me the reprogramming process you use and I'll give it a shot that would be cool.

You could also buy a used fob that's what I did and I use it everyday and works fine I memorized the bottoms so I don't care if the picture fades because I know my fob
