anyone who goes to best buy should have them put it on because they are overpriced in the store anyhow

Did you put the data module in?
It over rides the factory security system and allows the engine to run without the key in/on.
Then if you did, this comes into play;

You need that tach hooked up
I don't know about the valet switch or wire colors but that sounds like it.

Here is my write up on how I would do it:
Remote start wire.............Location on vehicle

+12v is lt. green/purple (20A) + ignition harness
Starter is red/lt. blue + ignition harness
Ignition is dk. blue/lt. green + ignition harness
Accessory is black/lt. green + ignition harness
Keysense is black/pink + ignition harness
Power Lock is pink/yellow - DKP or BCM, green plug, pin 9
Power Unlock is pink/lt. green - DKP or BCM, green plug, pin 1
Parking Lights + brown + switch or BCM, blue plug, pin 6
Door Trigger black/yel (L), black/pink (R) - DKP, gray plug, pins 22, 23

**Notes
: The wiring above is for an 05 F-150 without keyless entry. If you have keyless entry, the door trigger wires are found at the BCM, green plug. The LF door trigger is black/yellow in pin 4. The RF door trigger is black/pink in pin 5. The LR door trigger is black/lt. blue in pin 12. The RR door trigger is black/white in pin 13. Use all wires and diode isolate each.
Tachometer NOT red/lt. green or red on ac or any ignition coil/fuel injector
Brake Wire is lt. green + brake pedal switch
Parking Brake is lt. green/red - parking brake switch
Horn Trigger is dk. blue - switch or BCM, blue plug, pin 12

Notes: The BCM (Body Control Module) is on the driver side rear cabin wall.

You will also need an Immobilizer Bypass Module, like SecuriLock. That is required.

Hope this is what you needed... Or if it at least answered a few mysteries. Pretty much the same in any 04-05 F-150

hooked up my tach wire to the fuel injector and viola it works great...issue im having now is that the bypass is getting power all the time and when i try to crank my truck using the key without remote start the security light flashes and will not me crank the truck...is there a way i can isolate the bypass box so it has power only when remote started then off when i put my key in or just cranking the truck normally??

There are two different systems that are installed when you add the bypass module. So if I understand, when you turn the ignition key on, and the engine is running, the engine shuts off just like when you step on the brake while the truck is in bypass mode?
You definitely have some issues with the wiring. Did you buy this used and have no wiring instructions?
If it were my truck, I would take it to an installer.
Best of luck,

fixed i has to put a relay so the bypass only gets power while the remote start is on and off when truck is under own power.the issue was i didnt isolate the bypass to its own power and being it has my spare key in it and the key i stuck in the ignition it would see both keys in ignition and flash the security light and not let me crank...i installed a relay so the bypass is only on when the remote start is signaled and off when i step on the brake..everything is 100% operational now and im a happy fitts..lol...its so nice to hit a button in my apartment and truck is nice and warm when i get in it...thanks for the help guys..
