RO5 relay and there is a fuse # 105 electric trailer brakes that needs to be there. your fuse box may be good to go already. my truck came with that stuff in a bag.

wow talk about a blast from the past. I had this bag stored with my truck stuff since 2006 and I never knew what it was.

Put the relay in and noticed fuse 105 is already there. Directions didn’t mention it maybe they pre installed it in 2006?


anyway thanks @techrep because I would have been pulling my hair out later when trying to troubleshoot why this thing wasn’t working when the relay was missing. Wouldn’t have known about it.

Got it all mounted and wired up. I installed it here because it’s easiest to use the buttons with my arm on the armrest.
