Default Rear Window Leak ?

Two weeks ago, the day after a heavy rain, I got in my truck to go to work and my windows were iced up on the inside! Ended up late for work and figured it was the center brake light, rug was wet under the back seat. Its been real cold since so I temporaraly put plumbers putty around the light to seal it. We have had a few snows since and yesterday I noticed some water on my back window after the truck was sitting in the sun. I have the power sliding rear window. Anyone had a problem with the rear window leaking? I'm thinking this is the culprit. No stains on the head liner.

Yes, the seals around the sliding glass has been known to leak also.

My back window was leaking as well. So I purchased some thin weather stripping from home depot and placed it between the sliding window and the fixed window along the edge. So far so good. I have not had any water come into the truck with it on.

2008 thru 2009 was really bad about leaking along third brake light. Ford also has a modified replacement for your oem brake light

fuond the same problem 4 years ago , middle slider window seals , very poorly designed , but we are stuck . tried black duct tape ,( not too bad from a distance ) looked terrible up close , thinking of a solid window , but I think I'lll try the seal from home depot

What I did works and I have not had any leaks thus far.
