Default which rear shocks??

ive replaced the front shocks on my 04 f150, i think i need to replace the rear ones now. what does everybody reccommend? i hardly go off roading unless its hunting season. and i have 325/60/18s if that counts for anything. plus since im already under there should i replace the leaf springs as well? my truck has 96k on it....

Monroe Sensa-trac hands down. I replaced my bilsteins with these and I like them better. Only $100 for the pair you can't go wrong. They raised the rear over an inch too

Don't get me wrong, Bilsteins are great. I decided to go with the Sensa-Tracs cause I was saving myself ~$70 for the pair and I heard a lot of good things about them. Search around the Internet for reviews on them and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Btw, I don't do a whole lot of off roading but I do a lot of hauling and towing. That's where I noticed the difference

Did those shocks increase your payload.

I dont remember the specs off hand but I'm pretty sure they did. They have built in coilovers. The rear doesn't sag like it used to

Normally it's the springs that tell you what your payload is. Shocks are just there to damp the ride. Air bags will help with the payload too, but with the coil over it might.

I agree, helped the ride and handling after putting 33's on the truck. And gave me an inch lift in the rear of the truck, which combined with my two inch level in the front makes the truck look even better.
