Default Rear power window fail

My 04 fx4 supercrew rear power sliding window wont work. I know how to replace the door regulators but the back is different. Anyone know anything about them? Can they be fixed or does it have to be replaced.

Was it original to the truck or add-on? Reason I ask is there may be a fuse for it running in the drivers door sill. Aside from that you can buy just the motor or just the cable.. Or the whole thing.... Lots of junk yard will sale the motor for $50-75... I bought the whole new ford add on package for $300 including the window.

Yeah i talked to ford and they didnt sell replacement parts, just the whole assembly. Id prefer to fix it cause the glass is in perfect condition. And yeah its original. Has the switch near the lights

I found the motor online thru a ford dealership when I was gonna convert my manual slider to power, but it ended up being cheaper to buy the whole kit. I'll try to see if I can find it again and post back a link if I can. Edit: found it on tasca

When i bout my truck my rear slide wouldn't work either. I was going to replace it but an old school electrician told me just to tap on the motor housing with the handle of a screwdriver or a wooden object and it would free up the stuck brushes in the motor. That was 6 mos ago and been working ever since. Worth a shot on yours to.

That's the same thing mine did. Push the button and silence. No click or hum. If the tapping thing works update and let me know.

mine worked when i purchased the truck but stopped shortly after. I pulled the switch/cover down, unplugged it, cleaned up the contacts and put it back in. worked fine. once every few months it stops and i quickly just reset the plug and put it back in. I think the wires that are shoved in the plug may be a little loose.
