Default Rear blocks or add a leaf?

My 2004 is 1 inch higher in the front than in the back and I know it's not that big of deal but when I'm pulling the trailer it's a lot lower in the back. What would you guys recommend blocks, or aal? And what would I be looking to spend on them? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Blocks. You retain your ride quality. AAL's make any truck stiff as hell.

I've read from members on here that a block will eventually make the leaf springs start to sag. I have the factory 4x4 block on my 2wd and it makes the back sit about an inch higher than before with a 2.5" level. I have never seen sagging leaf springs due to the block though.

If you are towing a lot Id say add-a-leaf. Blocks just make the truck sit higher. Add-a-leaf will increase carrying capacity. But yes, it will be a stiffer ride.

I had a add a leaf in my truck for about 7 months and it did not change the ride quality at all and I love that I can throw a 1200 pound round bale of hay back there and the truck sits the same

Here is mine with a before and after shot with a 2.5" level in the front and the OEM 4X4 block in the back... https://www.f150forum.com/f4/install...blocks-136374/

It was a 2" block. I did blocks because i don't tow too much but as said if you do tow then go with add-a-leaf.

Edit: Id see if you could get the OEM one from someone on here that has taken them off when they lifted their truck they usually will let you have it for cheaper than buying a kit. Just make sure you get the longer u-bolts also.
