Word... Thats the exact same thing I would do. Process of elimination. Hope it works out!

Wow good to know others have had this same issue... I never really attributed it to my Edge but now I'm wondering...

Mine has done this several times and it throws the same code(s) and goes into limp mode, I clear the DTC's and its fine for awhile, I figured it was my CAI possibly so I took that off and it hasn't happened near as often but it still does it on occasion. To me the code is calling out the drive by wire throttle control motor on the throttle body, I hate that damn system, I would so love to convert back to a throttle cable and get instant throttle response like we used to have!

I really like the edge, I was a little dissapointed when I got it, couldn't feel much at first, but after using it awhile and then returning the truck to stock, there is a big difference. I would reccomend it, the people at edge have helped me out with whatever I needed and it is very user friendly. The only frustrating part is the limp mode that it goes in too. Past two days though, no problems, so I think changing the air filter may have helped.

Whenever I return the truck to stock, I do not have the issue at all. I'm 99% sure it is the programmer. I have been thinking about sending it in to get it converted to a gryphon, I think that's what it's called... But I don't know if I want to spend the extra money for that.

I no with the 2004s you have to replace the hole throttle body but after 2004 you can just replace the sensor if that is your problem. I'd say if you replaced the throttle body that would take care of your problem. This is just my opinion though. Hope it helps
The way I understand it, there is no fuel going through the throttle body, just air. Its sensor (TP sensor) would be used by the PCM to determine how much the throttle is open, and therefore how much fuel is required to the cylinders by the injectors. The duration of spray, controlled by the PCM would use the TP sensor (and others) to adjust this spray duration.

Or in simpler terms (?), how many peanuts to feed the hamster in the spinning cage.

Nashtruck!

I have had the Edge programmer for about 2 years, and love it! Whenever I take it off to have my truck serviced at the dealer, I feel a big drop in performance, and cant wait to put it back on! The only downfall to me is that I run 91 octane all the time now, and out here in Cali, gas aint cheap!
This whole time I've had it, I havent had any problems (knock on wood)!
I prefer this programmer over any other one!
