Default Really nit picking

Hello all,
So I recently purchased a 2005 Ford F-150 Lariat Scab and I love it, it's got 119,000 miles on it now and I've done a few small things to it. However I have 1 thing that annoys me and it's a really big nit pick. I own a Volkswagen GTI, my girl has a Volkswagen Tiguan, my work truck is a Brand New ford transit 150 and all of them have a nice quality feeling turn signal stock/switch. The one on my f150 is stiff, feels cheap, makes a loud click when you flip on the turn signal, and if I have the windshield wipers on (which is every day in Florida) it never fails to change the speed of my wipers when I flip it on or off. Anybody know if there is an upgraded turn signal switch, or if a newer f150 switch would work? I know this is being really nit picky and not many people would care to change this, but it's the one thing that simply annoys me and I want to fix it. Any ideas?

Are any of them better, nicer or more quiet?

Law of averages says that since it's four different companies and eight different versions, one of them is going to be more quiet than the rest... but I haven't spent the money to find out because it's not been an issue for me.

I can't stand the fact that mine doesn't cancel until I'm almost completely straight after a turn. Don't know if they all do this but I'm wondering about the quality of the switch also

I get what you're saying. I used to really like the way Honda signal switches were in the early 2000's. They made that nice "clook" sound instead of a "click". For some reason I still remember that to this day LOL

Ya I feel like it's the little things that bring a car or truck together and make it great. I love my GTi and will probably never get rid of it, and it does things like the windshield wipers slow down 1 setting when you stop at a light and speed back up to where you had them when you take off, if they are on and you put your car in reverse the rear wiper goes off once to clear the window. I can roll my windows up and down with the key fob. it's little details like this that make me feel like you went that extra mile. I want to incorporate some of those details in my f150. I just got my tailgate damper because that's an awesome detail I want! I'll look through those and see what's what

Having had both an 11th and 12th gen., I can tell you the 11th gen is so unrefined compared to the 12th gen on so, so many levels. Braking, steering, handling, comfort, technology, build materials, cabin space, hell the electronic power steering is my favorite thing!

The 2008 feels like I am driving an old wood truck that doesn't want to stop or steer

I have a 2005 and I love it, but I feel like it could use some improvements. Braking is one place I'm going soon, technology is on the list as well, I feel like my Lariat is very comfortable though aside from the fact that the seats have no bolstering and I slide all over the place when I turn lol

There is not much improvement to the brakes to be had. I have bled my lines and even put a powerslot kit on and still not that impressed. The only thing left to do is braided lines or go to a quad piston brake caliper which IIRC only Saleen made for the F150 and they are as rare as the cure for cancer.

Seriously though the next gen is a lot better in every aspect. But scobar, if so much hate, why not sell your truck and get a newer truck? It's the best kind of truck, paid for!
