hello everyone, I just purchased an 08 FX2 and I just wanted to know what gas to use. Regular, premium, or supreme? I read the manual but it doesn't really specify. Thanks in advance. I did a search, but the question is so simple that the search is too vague. Thanks again.

 

regular 87 octane is fine

my 09' states in the manual that it is rated for 87. I was putting 93 in before extensive searching led me to the high octane feul being more so for race type / high compression cars and rice rockets. slowly diluted the 93 to 87 and she runs like a tangible orgasm.

 

these trucks are meant to run on regular. according to my dealer if you run anything else you can ruin your engine,I suggest if you do want to run a higher grade gas get a tuner the only real safe way.
