Hi guys, I just bought an '06 XL F150. Very happy with it. I was just on a websight where you can look at all the Ford colors. My door says ld. The websight says Medium Wedgewood, but it didn't look that close to mine. In some light it looks Navy Blue, sometimes downright purple, and sometimes kinda gray/blue. Anyone have the same? And what color is it?

 

only can be 1 of 2 blues, unless it has been repainted, then it could be any color, colors, mixed together

True Blue Clearcoat Metallic



Medium Wedgewood Blue Clearcoat Metallic

 

My 2005 Fx4 has the True Blue Clearcoat, and it does the same thing as you're describing. In some light it looks purple, other times a real dark blue, and since its a two tone, when you look down low the blue has a grayish tint that seems to match the two tone.

 

Thanks guys. I stopped by the Ford dealer and ran the VIN. It's Medium Wedgewood allright. Picked up some touchup while I was there.
