Ratcheting sound in my front end DRIVING ME CRAZY
today this ratcheting noise started in my front end..it only does it when im moving and only when im in 2wd. when i step on the gas it sounds like a chain is going and when i let off the gas it lets up (sometimes) sometimes it will keep going even when im not on the gas. when i put it in 4x4 it stops for the most part...but i herd the same noise but just alot quiter one time but other than that when its in 4x4 i dont hear anything at all. i have automatic hubs too? im stumped i dont know what it is i have been trying to pin point it all day but no one can point me in the direction on what it is! Please help a guy out haha

Thats what i was leaning towards but couple people kept telling me it was my u joints but i checked those and they were good. thanks alot made a appointment for the mornin!
