Default Random transmission problem

So when I say random I mean random. If I'm real light n the throttle in town trying to save gas it shows ft fine into second. Just every so often it reeves a little before going into third. If I am driving more aggressive it shift so smooth it's unreal.

I'm going to change trans fluid and filter next week on it.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Well I'll add new fluid and see if it fixes the problem. I really don't want to have to buy a new transmission.

Should I also add Lucas transmission lube to it?

I personally would never recommend anybody putting anything other than transmission fluid in a transmission. The only exception is the small tube of shudder fix for the torque converter.

Call and ask any transmission shop what they think of Lucas...

Default Put a drain type transmission pan on it-- amazon has them .

Most of these take 20 quarts of mercon V . No additives . MC preferred . Amazon has it . Drain 5 quarts at a time until you go thru 20 or so . Drive it ,change every few trips .

Have this problem on my 2011 3.7l

Changed the transmission oil and filter last year, still had the problem right after I change it

Shifts hard from 1st to 2nd, but I accelerate faster, no problem at all.
