Default Ranchhand Grill Guard question

I bought it used for my 2004 F150 via craigslist. Dude gave me all the carriage bolts and upper mounting brackets, but from reading the written instructions, which I found online, I surmise that I also need lower mounting brackets. Is that assumption correct (I cant find a decent diagram or parts list online)?

I mocked it up, and got to this point that made me feel pretty safe in assuming I need lower mounting brackets (pics attached).

I took the pics laying on the ground. I think the 21mm bolt that the written instructions say to remove is the one above the guard's "arms" that you can see (two empty holes)

I called and ordered the hardware package since the dude never called me back and what not. Also, this way I get all new bolts. They also emailed me the diagrams! Hooray!

Parts are here. Hopefully I'll get it installed tomorrow morning (it's too hot outside right now).

Ranchhand sent me the correct lower brackets, but the wrong upper brackets. WTF? Oh well, I had the correct ones from the dude.

Anyway, here it is done (by myself, so not perfectly level).
