Here's a couple of views of my truck for a reference. Yours looks fine to me. It's how my truck was. The 2nd pic being 2 days after I bought my truck...lol.

Yea mine sits almost 6 inches higher in the back. One heck of a level kit is needed if you ask me. Or just the front end of a suspension lift lol

I have heard people say it is because they wanted it for when the truck tows a trailer, they are now level and not front end up. that's just what I have heard, but doesn't make sense to me.

yah I do a lot of towing/hauling and this is what the rake is nice for so you have an even load on both ends of the truck and the truck sits level

If it was level and it was used for truck purposes it makes the steering lighter and less stable. The rake keeps weight on the front tires.

Yup, rake is for towing and to allow for squat when the bed is loaded with weight. It's also for aerodynamic purposes too.
