Default Radio switch out to Nav

Hello,
I have an opportunity to get a Nav. radio from a 2006 Explorer. Looks like
it will fit but wondering if there are codes specific to the radio that need to
be entered to make it all work. I currently have the base single CD stock
radio (2008 4x4 Screw). I know some radios need the code when disconnected from the battery or the VIN # from donor vehicle.
Thank you,
RC

I'm not sure about explorers but navigators are very similar to our trucks

I took the bezel off and it appears to be an exact fit. Can't imagine there would
be that many different models. I am more concerned about the code issue.
Whether it requires dealer programming.
