Yes I do still have control of my steering wheel controls and the device plugged in on the right is my Valentine 1 radar detector.

Did you have to purchase a seperate module or did the Kenwood deck support the ford controls (regarding the steering wheel controls)?

Just bought a 2008 STX and i was thinking about doing this on the way home from the dealership. Cant wait for christmas to be over.

EDIT : Does the GPS work out of the box? All i have to do is plug it in and im ready to go?

Hey Triton, what model is your Kenwood? Are you running a DDX in a 6019,7017, or 8019?

Default what ever happened with this?

Whatever happened with this? I just ordered one of these and antenna but does it need to be unlocked to my VIN? Or did yours just plug and play?
