radio stops working when I turn on my headlights

Does your clock get reset...? Trying to determine if it's your ground, +12V power wire, +12V memory wire, or even (believe it or not) something with the illumination wire.

Alright, it's not likely to be ground then or you'd be mad at resetting the clock and presets by now hahaha.
I'm taking a guess here but two things I can think of now based on the information available so far (without testing myself of course):
- the illumination wire is kicking something out when you turn the headlights on (as the dash lights turn on). This could be an issue internally in the deck itself. Quick question, does it do it when you turn ONLY the park lights on? If not, then this isn't likely the issue (as the dash lights would be on). If you find that Park or Headlights is making the radio go out, try these things:
--- Pull fuse #6 from your fuse panel (assuming yours is the same - mine shows instrument panel illumination). This MAY not disconnect it to the deck though, I'll have to verify at home myself on mine as well tonight. If you find after taking this fuse out the headlight switch no longer cuts the radio out then we have an idea.
--- Turn your dash light switch all of the way down (although I don't think this is going to do anything but it's worth a shot).
- Something is cutting the accessory 12V wire to the radio when you turn the headlights on (which doesn't make sense, you'd think you'd lose more things - wipers, etc)
If the first step doesn't work haha, do you have a volt meter? Would you be up for testing if I got you the wire colors (pins) to test on the radio meter? It's pretty easy to remove the bezel and there's 4 bolts holding the radio in place.
Honestly, I'm thinking the CB might have been coincidental unless it did some damage internally to the deck somehow (it is possible).

It is your radio, the power from the CB over powered your power diod inside player. Had happen in my semi more then once. never figured out why it did and only to stock radios.
